What to look for this month

  • Long-tailed tits

Long-tailed tits are easily recognisable with their black, white and pinkish plumage with a very long tail making up 7-9cm of its 13-15 cm length. You may hear them before you see them as they are noisy and excitable birds usually seen in flocks of about 20 birds moving from tree to tree.
